- Calculate the load demand and determine the impact on existing network.
- Put application for load connection. And liaise with the relevant utility for further stages.
- Designing LV and HV supply to connect new development within the regions of Endeavour Energy, Ausgrid and Essential Energy utilities.
- Designing of overhead and underground reticulations for new residential and industrial subdivisions.
- Designing of overhead and underground transmission feeders up to 33kV that includes the selection of the feeder’s route.
- Determining the electrical Clearances, selection of the required Insulators and line hardware,
- Design new install of a chamber, Pad-mount and pole substations.
- Upgrade existing overhead and underground reticulations.
- Measure Earth resistivity and design Earthing system for new substations.
- Interact with customers, stakeholders, government departments and supply authority regarding the level 3 design issues.
- Plan, organise and implement projects and tasks within a designated time frame.
- Carry out Environment impact assessing and both community consultation.
- Quality assessment for other designers works as well as working in a team.
- Update design procedures and design checklists.
- Update existing work procedures and create others to improve productivity in a safer work environment.
- Team leading for level 3 designers and problem-solving for level 1 service providers.
